Road blocked due to Kentucky truck accident

WEHT reported that a Kentucky truck accident caused a highway to be blocked Tuesday.

The Kentucky auto accident caused the truck to spill its contents on the Pennyrile Parkway Tuesday.

The Kentucky truck accident occurred when icy road conditions caused the accident. The truck split open and dumped RC Cola packaging all over the roadway.

Traffic was blocked on the Pennyrile Parkway for two hours and had to be rerouted following the Kentucky truck accident.

Man with Parkinson’s files for Kentucky workers’ compensation

The Lexington Herald Leader reported that a man who was a tool-and-die worker is trying to get Kentucky workers’ compensation because a solvent used in his work at a factory may have increased his risk for Parkinson’s disease.

Exposure to the solvent trichloroethylene has been associated with anxiety, tremors, rigidity and other symptoms associated with Parkinson’s disease.

The 53-year-old man spent two decades working with trichloroethylene, which has led him to seek Kentucky workers’ compensation benefits.

Indiana auto accidents likely when roads get slick

The Journal Gazette reported that police are cautioning drivers about slick roads and Indiana auto accidents.

Police responded to several Indiana auto accidents Tuesday due to the icy road conditions. There were 11 reported Indiana car accidents between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m that day.

Authorities are advising drivers to be cautious of slick roads and to watch out for emergency vehicles responding to Indiana auto accidents as well as trucks dumping salt on the roads.

Driver crashes into Radio Shack in Kentucky auto accident

January 6, 2009

WHAS reported that a driver crashed into a Radio Shack during a Kentucky auto accident that resulted in no serious injuries.

The Kentucky car accident occurred Sunday at the intersection of Preston and Eastern Parkway when a truck crashed through the front doors of the store.

Witnesses said another vehicle crashed across the street at the same time. The Kentucky auto accident may have been caused by one of the vehicles running a red light.

The occupants of the vehicles were taken to local hospitals to be treated for non-serious Kentucky auto accident injuries.  No one in the store at the time of the crash was hurt.
